This year’s awards were judged by nine leading photography and industry experts from around the world. To be acknowledged at this level is an excellent achievement.

The Capture Awards celebrate the work of professional photographers from Australia and New Zealand. The inaugural awards were judged by a panel of leading photographers from around the world: Christina House, Cinzia Bruschini, Dylan Kitchener, Howard Schatz, Joanna Kitchener, Matthew Joseph, Ron Haviv, Scott Johnson and Susan Stripling.

Thank you for taking part in our inaugural Capture Awards 2023 and for sharing your remarkable photographic talent with us. 

It is photographers like you whose artistic contributions add to the vibrancy of our photographic industry — as well as being inspirational to other emerging and aspiring photographers.
