The goal of this project is to convey to a younger audience the notion of duty, sacrifice and patriotism, to pay homage to brave men who have overcome adversity serving their country, as well as the adversity faced in life after service. — James Mott, photojournalist.
Silent Burden shoot dates commence on the 21st of October. Peter Watson, Ted Samojlowicz, Kieth Boog and Trevor Murdoch jointed us for the 1st round of Veteran Interviews and photoshoot.
I am incredibly proud to have been part of the 'Silent Burden' project. Growing up in a family where my grandfather, a respected veteran, was deeply honoured, this project held a special place in my heart. It was vital for me to use my participation as a way to express respect and gratitude to these remarkable individuals.
